이번에 소개해 드릴 작업은 기아 K3 루프스킨 제거입니다.

4년 전에 유광블랙으로 시공을 하셨는데 무광으로 색이 변했습니다.

랩핑이 손상되면 색상이 탁하게 변하거나 갈라지는 현상이 옵니다.

다행히 이 차에는 갈라지는 현상이 아직은 없었습니다.

루프는 햇빛과, 눈, 비, 등 여러 환경을 가장 많이 견뎌내는 부위라

다른 곳에 비해 수명이 짧은 편입니다.

보통 2년 정도에 제거하시거나 재시공을 추천해 드립니다.

물론 4~5년 후에도 제거가 가능하나 제거비용과 시간이 더 걸릴 수 있으며

도장면의 색이 변할 수도 있습니다.

Today I'll be showing you Kia K3 roof wrap removal.

Customer got the roof wrap done 4 years ago in gloss black, but now it has changed to matte color.

When the vinyl is damaged, the color will change to cloudy or start to show cracks.

Fortunately, this car didn't show any signs of cracks.

Roof withstands the most environmental conditions

such as sunlight, snow, and rain so it has a shorter lifespan compared to other parts.

It is usually recommended to remove or reinstall in about 2 years.

Of course, it can be removed after 4-5 years, but it may take more time and cost to remove it and the color of the painted surface may discolor.

제거를 시작합니다~

필름을 그냥 잡고 떼면 되는 거 같지만 말처럼 쉽지 않습니다.

웬만하면 업체에 맡기시는 게 가장 좋습니다.

혼자 다이로 하시면 스트레스를 많이 받을 수 있으며 욕도 많이 하실 수 있습니다. ㅎㅎㅎ

Gonna start the removal process~

It can look simple by just grabbing the vinyl and peeling it off, but it's not as easy as it sounds.

If possible, I recommend leaving it to the professionals.

If you DIY, expect some stress and lots of swearing. Hehe.

필름을 다 제거한 뒤 남아있는 점착제를 닦아줍니다.

점착제를 완벽하게 제거하는 것도 시간이 걸리며 쉽게 끝나지 않습니다.

After removing all the vinyl, we have to clean off the remainder adhesive that's left.

Completely removing the remainder adhesive also takes time and is not easy at all.

다시 신차로 돌아온 K3를 같이 확인해 보시죠!

차가 많이 깔끔해지고 달라 보이죠? ㅎㅎㅎ

노후된 루프스킨은 최대한 빨리 제거할수록 좋습니다!

더 방치해 놓으시면 제거가 어려우며 비용이 많이 높아질 수도 있으니 고민하지 마시고 언제든 연락 주세요!
